The majority of Americans who watch US television will know that hit drama Smallville will end after its tenth season (currently airing in the US from November 2010-March 2011, set to debut in the UK next year), and rumour has it that another DC hero(ine) called Raven might get her own series after that. The character forms part of the popular Teen Titans team from DC Comics, possessing special psychic powers that alienate her from the rest of the human race, making her a prime candidate for a series along the lines of Smallville (an origins story taking Clark Kent from his awkward years as a teenager to his destiny as Super-Man). There's no confirmation from DC yet as to whether the avid speculation of Raven's televised series is correct, but given that Clark Kent's on-screen time will be over very soon, expect US producer Warner Brothers to address this claim early in 2011!
