2010 has been a great year in more one ways than one, with a particular milestone being Nintendo's iconic Super Mario's 25th Anniversary this month. The fictitious plumber, who recently appeared in top Wii hit Super Mario Galaxy 2 (10/10), first took video games by storm in 1985 as he fought Donkey Kong in the arcades. Today sees the release of Mario All Stars: 25th Anniversary Edition for the Nintendo Wii, a carbon-copy of a SNES classic incorporating the classic original four Mario games. At £20, the re-release may initially seem steep, but a "History of Mario" booklet and a sound-track featuring melodies from across the franchise add to the value actually posed by 4 full games in one set.
