LEGO STAR WARS III/LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN (March/May)- I'm cautiously optimistic for the next LEGO Star Wars entry as its predecessors were such fun, while LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean could work as long as it retains the trademark humour of both franchises (that shouldn't be hard) and plays in a similar vein to Indiana Jones. Light-hearted fun for sure, though.
BULLETSTORM (February)- This Tuesday we'll be getting our first proper look at Bulletstorm with the demo, but from what I can see it's going to provide ballistic and downright crazy excitement for shooter fans who are tired of the predictable CODs, Killzones and Halos still dominating the charts!
FINAL FANTASY XIII.2 (Winter)- This missed out on a place in the Top 10 mainly because knowing Square Enix Winter will mean early 2012, however if it does make its way here then given the quality of the original and given that the developer claims to be improving every aspect, we're onto a winner.
THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM (November)- Bethesda Studios have been working on Elder Scrolls V for a long time now, so if all the improvements made to the Fallout series inbetween this and Oblivion (2007, 8/10) come to fruition in Skyrim then you can expect a moving, visually stunning romp.
OPERATION FLASHPOINT: RED RIVER (July)- Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (7/10) was a tough sod with some awkward glitches, yet the difficulty was part of what made it so fun, so with the niggles removed Red River could be one of the most realistic shooters of 2011.
CHILD OF EDEN (February)- Not too much is known about this visually dazzling Kinect 'shooter' where you blast viruses with your hands, but rumour has it Child of Eden could cause some literal waves for the motion camera next month, and you can find out with my full review!
