3DS UK Launch Titles Revealed

UK video game retailer GAME have revealed the line-up of launch games for the Nintendo 3DS, the ground-breaking new handheld to be released on March 25th. Although I personally think the £230 RRP the 3DS is currently set as is more than a little steep, already thousands of pre-orders of the console have been given at GAME, and Nintendo have revealed that you should make sure to pre-order the successor to the DS (first released in 2005) if you're interested as the company will manufacture UK stock according to the number of pre-release orders are made. Anyway, onto the launch titles, consisting as such: Nintendogs+Cats; Super Monkey Ball; Asphalt; LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars; Super Street Fighter IV; Rayman; Ghost Recon; Splinter Cell and Pro Evolution Soccer. You may notice that other than Nintendogs+Cats, there are no first-party entries developed by Nintendo which may well be a bitter disappointment to core gamers (though that's probably why Street Fighter, Rayman and the two Tom Clancy shooters are set for day one) especially seeing as they'll have to shell out an extra tenner for each launch game at £40. What do you think of the 3DS, its pricing and launch line-up? Personally, I'm not yet sold...
