Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 For November?

Yet another modern Call of Duty could be released this November, if avid speculation on the web has any truth. The title, currently rumoured to be the third in the Modern Warfare series, is supposedly co-developed by Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software and Respawn (the re-named team who once were Infinity Ward), and would be a direct follow-on from 2009's Modern Warfare 2 (9.5/10) and feature the surviving characters in a brand new plotline. Sledgehammer have already posted a job listing for its work on "the next Call of Duty game" due for release this year, so the game in question could well be Modern Warfare 3. Previously it was rumoured that Sledgehammer would release a title called 'Space Ops' alongside Respawn's MW3 in 2011, but maybe the developer is instead helming a larger modern project? We wouldn't put it past Activision to fall back on its most popular incarnation of COD, especially as Black Ops (7/10) didn't go down well with fans, and since last year's instalment was announced in March, expect the next Call of Duty's reveal very soon!
