The Official Xbox Magazine has provided some juicy details on upcoming Marvel game X-Men: Destiny. Previously shrouded behind two trailers, Destiny will begin "after the death of Professor Xavier", featuring three protagonists "now cemented in X-Men canon" and chronicling a major conflict taking New York City by storm between the titular mutants and the Purifiers, "human zealots that consider humans nature's greatest mistake". OXM also reveals that the game will be an RPG where tough decisions are "clearly signposted". The magazine also gives a full run-through of the first level of Destiny, but I'll leave you to buy it and see your thoughts! Also know that Magneto, Nightcrawler, Cyclops and Wolverine will all make in-game appearances, so there's no doubt that X-Men: Destiny could be an excellent addition to the superhero genre with its branching paths and action-packed gameplay this autumn!
