Could the Gears of War franchise continue beyond its supposedly final instalment? It appears so- 'Gears of War: Exile' was trademarked by Epic Games today for a new video game, instruction manual and hint guide. It's rumoured to be the Kinect title many thought was going to be the Spike Video Game Awards GoW announcement, but that particular revelation was delayed to 'early 2011', so perhaps it isn't too long until we find out what 'Exile' truly is. Either way, that Epic Games didn't attempt to cover up the trademark when it was posted probably means it was genuine, so there shouldn't be much of a wait for the official confirmation.
