Assassin's Creed Brotherhood DLC Revealed

It's been a while since Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but that hasn't stopped Ubisoft from working on new downloadable missions to continue the main plot, the first pack of which has been announced as "The Da Vinci Disappearance". Taking place after Cesare Borgia's death, the DLC sees Leonardo Da Vinci-a strong ally of current protagonist Ezio- captured by an insane underground cult dedicated to transforming mankind. As Ezio, you venture underground to recover priceless stolen paintings of the famous artist, before embarking on a relentless quest to find Leo before it's too late (all Ubisoft Montreal's words, whether the actual DLC will be as exciting as that sounds remains to be seen). Two brand new locations not seen in Brotherhood will be available to explore in the new missions, and two unique game-play features will be introduced too. The multi-player will also be expanded when the pack releases next month, with an apparently huge new map set in Spain (could that be where Da Vinci has been taken?), four extra characters and two innovative game modes, Escort and Assassinate- surprising the latter name hasn't been used before now as a title! While it's unlikely to break much new ground and/or expand on the shattering events Desmond became a part of as Brotherhood ended, The Da Vinci Disappearance should at least be worth a purchase to get some more time as Ezio before we switch assassins in the next game later this year, and at £7 with ten new achievements and trophies it sounds like a bargain.
