Doctor Who: Worlds In Time, an online role-playing game to be launched this Summer, was announced today by BBC Worldwide and developer Three Rings. According to the press release, fans can expect to "follow in the footsteps of the Doctor by exploring new worlds and interacting with alien races" in a game that focuses on an engaging co-operative formula. As a new companion of Matt Smith's incarnation of the Time Lord, you'll face off against enemies old and new, with arch-foes the Daleks sure to make an appearance somewhere down the line. Worlds In Time is probably going to be released in the gap period between the first and second half of Season Six spanning from late May to August, and if other expansions of the show like Doctor Who Live, Doctor Who Experience, Return to Earth and Evacuation Earth are anything to go by, fans will get everything they want and more from the latest Who video game.
