LEGO Star Wars III Demo Out Now

Can another LEGO Star Wars really add any new gimmicks to a formula that is rapidly looking to become stale and repetitive? That's the question that has been on the minds of fans since LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars was announced for release this March, and we're now able to get at least some of the answer as a demo of The Clone Wars has been released on Xbox Live, and will be on the PlayStation Network later today. Taking place in the spin-off animated series, LEGO Star Wars III features 16 different galaxies to explore, encompasses 20 episodes of the show and key battles shown in the films, plus adds 'SceneSwap', where like a TV programme two scenes are happening at once and gamers can switch between them to suit the purposes of the level. Bonus characters from the original trilogy can even be unlocked later on, too, with Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo all confirmed to make cameo appearances at some point. My full hands-on with the demo will be here in just a few short days, so until then download the demo, let me know your impressions, and may the Force be with you- always. Below is the launch trailer, featuring clips from the demo and more...
