5 Games You Should Play In The Hiatus

This blog will be temporarily closing down for three weeks in a few days time, so whilst we're away I thought I'd recommend a few current and upcoming video game releases to play through...
PORTAL 2 (OUT NOW)- A surefire Game of the Year contender, this stunning sequel surpasses everything that has come before it in 2011 and probably much that will come after it. Full of comedy and intelligence, you don't want to miss this under any circumstances.
LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN (OUT FRIDAY)- Another LEGO game, I hear you say? Surely TT Games can't keep things fresh after so many of them? From what I've played, they have managed that and so much more in an innovative, friendly romp covering all four films.
L.A. NOIRE (OUT MAY 20TH)- Rockstar are back with a unique crime romp sure to thrill fans of slow-paced, edgy thrillers that take up a good amount of your time.
RED FACTION: ARMAGEDDON (OUT JUNE 10TH)- Similar to past entry Red Faction: Guerilla, this third person shooter features explosive space action that threatens to excite gamers everywhere!
CHILD OF EDEN (OUT JUNE 14TH)- Possibly the first must-have Kinect title, Child Of Eden is visually, musically and mechanically groundbreaking and might just enter Game of the Year shortlists.
