Mass Effect 3 Demo Release Date Announced

Once the almighty glut of Autumn gaming is over, we move towards the year of 2012, a great time for video games if there ever was one. In the Springtime alone, we'll be getting Syndicate, Soul Calibur V, SSX, Kinect Star Wars, BioShock Infinite, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Resident Evil: Revelations, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier; Street Fighter X Tekken, XCOM, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 and Prototype 2, but they're not the titles I'm most excited about. Nope, it's Mass Effect 3 that should really get the boat rocking, and before its worldwide release, we're getting a fully fledged demo for the sci-fi RPG shooter! Those shooter fans who are buying Battlefield 3 this Friday from EA will be getting a special 'online pass' for the demo, whereby they can test out the multiplayer modes before anyone else, and this will guarantee them early access to the multiplayer beta. Those of us who opt out of that method can try the single-player campaign demo in January, and we'll get access to the beta soon after too. No details have been released yet as to what either the demo or the beta will encompass, but considering that they are both meant to 'sell' the game to uncertain players, expect them to be huge and brilliant! Mass Effect 3 launches March 6th, 2012.
