The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer For VGAs

As if the list of huge world exclusives to be revealed at the Spike Video Game Awards 2011 this Saturday weren't already big enough, Activision has now confirmed that their game adaptation of upcoming superhero movie reboot The Amazing Spider-Man will get its first full trailer at the ceremony. The title takes place after the events of the film, and allows fans to roam around an open-world New York, facing off against the biggest enemies the web slinger has ever fought in the comic books. You can see a teaser for the full video below- it's already looking pretty ace! Beenox has a mixed track record with Spidey games, having given us the sublime Shattered Dimensions (8/10) and the sub-par Edge of Time (4/10), but hopefully they can pull a stunner out of the bag for the game's release in July 2012. So, this brings the list to around nine of the thirteen confirmed world exclusives- expect more surprises on Saturday...here's what's confirmed so far:

• A new franchise from BioWare unveiled
• A new franchise from Epic revealed
• The DLC sequel to Alan Wake's first trailer
• A brand new trailer and the release date for BioShock: Infinite
• The first trailer for Rainbow Six: Patriots
• The first gameplay footage from Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
• A new Tony Hawks skateboarding game announced
• The first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man
• The Last Of Us, "a PS3 exclusive you won't believe", revealed

The Awards air at 7pm this Saturday on Spike.
