I can't wait to see the new take on F.Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby next year, and the first images released from the upcoming film haven't made any difference. To the left, you can see Tobey Maguire as Nick, Leonardo DiCaprio as the titular character Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisy and Joel Edgerton as Tom. We've clearly got a cast full of big names for this flick, but unlike the rubbish ensemble movie New Year's Eve this drama should pack some real heart, as proven by the image below. The Great Gatsby releases on Christmas Day 2012.
