Yep, you read right- Terry Jones has revealed that he's set to direct a science-fiction movie which will star the surviving members of the Monty Python crew. That means we can expect to see John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and with some luck Eric Idle back on the scene, in Absolutely Anything, a CGI movie where they play aliens who give a human a source of unimaginable power that threatens to send the Earth into chaos. Robin Williams will also feature in the movie, and he's said "It's not a Monty Python picture, but it certainly has that sensibility." "Terry and Gavin [Scott, writer of the original script] have crafted a classic farce- something I feel I know a little bit about after all the Pink Panther pictures we did with Blake Edwards at United Artists," says writer of Life of Brian and Absolutely Anything Mike Medavoy. Expect this exciting new project to hit the big screen early in 2014.
