The hype machine for colossal sci-fi gaming finale Mass Effect 3 is gearing into full force, as we have just over a month until we'll be getting our hands on BioWare's latest and greatest mission yet. GamesTrailers have revealed new details on the upcoming game: an early mission will take place on the planet Mars, which is known to hold a series of Prothean archives that if decrypted could provide the key to ending the universal invasion of the Reapers. Lucky for Shephard, he's got the help of his old friend (or flame, depending on how you played the original!), Asari Prothean expert Liara T'Soni, to find the truth. What could possibly go wrong? Oh, you had to ask...the Illusive Man's Cerberus team have reached the ruins of this ancient race of beings first, and they aren't planning to just let you walk in anytime soon! Prepare for an epic shootout to tutor you in the new combat system before you venture out into the big bad galaxy...Mass Effect 3 hits stores on March 9th.
