Coming Up This Week: February 13th-19th

Do things stay as impressive as they have been recently this coming week?
We really should be revelling in the good times the world of entertainment seems to be so fortuitously bringing us right now, because my goodness, do we know from recent release slumps that all good things can come to an end. Mercifully, this week isn't an omen of that, providing a great deal of interesting releases to watch out for...
SWITCH ON THE TELLY- Hustle reaches its dramatic conclusion in a tense and thrilling finale for an eight-year strong drama! Meanwhile Ed unwittingly heads the new endangered species project in Wild At Heart and Hal discovers the terrors of the workplace in the third instalment of Being Human.
AT THE MOVIES- The Oscar-nominated comedy drama Extremely Loud And Incredible Close leads us down a new direction for cinema with its focus on family loyalty and love...
GAME ON- More great new titles are heading our way very soon, but to fill the gap we've at least got some promising new entries led by HD compilation Jak & Daxter Collection, sports brawler UFC 3 and the 3DS version of the brilliant platformer Rayman Origins!
ON THE SHELVES- If you missed Rowan Atkinson's underwhelming sequel Johnny English Reborn and want to catch it on DVD and Blu-Ray, now's your chance. On the other hand, The Gruffalo's Child; Dolphin Tale; Doctor Who: Revisitations 3; To Kill A Mockingbird Universal 100th Anniversary Edition and All Quiet On The Western Front Universal 100th Anniversary Edition all come to disc this week too.
CRANK UP THE TUNES- A handful of fan-pleasing singles are on their way in the next seven days, the highlights being Emilie Sande's Our Version of Events, One Direction's One Thing and Neil Young's Cow Palace 1986.
GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE- Can Nicholas Cage and his Marvel Knights production team resurrect this dark antihero franchise that seemed doomed before it started proper with the first Ghost Rider's flop? I'm looking forward to seeing how Spirit of Vengeance fares, as I didn't think the original was that bad, with some potential certainly for further story threads in violent sequels that may hopefully be realised fully here.
ON THE BLOG- It's another busy old week for the blog, with reviews of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D, Halo: Glasslands, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Fifth Series, Halo: Legends, Kingdoms of Alamur: Reckoning and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance all heading your way before Sunday if everything moves as expected. On top of all that, expect some more big game reveals, a few new trailers and a couple of surprises along the way!
