Bond Marathon, 007 Legends Announced

Two big James Bond releases are coming to celebrate the film franchise's 50th Anniversary!
This week Columbia Pictures has announced two exciting extensions to the 007 James Bond movie series due for release later this year to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. First up, Sky Movies will get the rights to show all twenty-two films based around the famed British secret agent this October just before the debut of Skyfall in what they call their 'Bond Marathon'. That means, then, that you'll be able to catch Dr No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Live And Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View To A Kill, The Living Daylights, Licence To Kill, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale AND Quantum Of Solace before we reach the twenty-third entry this Autumn. On top of that, Activision have announced 007 Legends, a new video game FPS for PS3, 360 and all other consoles that will combine the storylines of SIX Bond movies into one big celebratory campaign. That's an ambitious venture, but if the devs can rekindle the flames found in the original GoldenEye remake for Wii rather than the stale Reloaded remake then it should be one heck of an anniversary present! Skyfall lands on October 26th.
