Watch Dogs Launch Platforms Confirmed

E3's show-stealer gets a release window and console line-up!
Perhaps the biggest surprise of E3 was Ubisoft's unveiling of Watch Dogs on the opening day of press conferences. A stunning new third-person open world adventure that involves manipulating technology to outmatch your enemies, the game stole the breaths of countless journalists and Ubi followers with its revelation, and now looks to be one of the hottest releases of the near future. Publishers and developers Ubisoft have now confirmed that Watch Dogs will ship on 'PC and consoles'. This is an intriguing dubbing of its launch line-up, in that they could have named the consoles as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and possibly the Nintendo WiiU, but instead chose not to. Don't rule out this coming to the WiiU, yet could this not imply that this game has been a light premiere of next-generation console technology? People speculated similar things of Star Wars 1313, so it's not out of the question to think both LucasArts and Ubisoft have essentially 'revealed' the 720/PS4 at E3 under Microsoft and Sony's noses. A very exciting proposition to be sure! Watch Dogs will ship on PC and consoles in 2013, and if you missed the spectacular first demo then I've included it below...
