Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes Gets New Director

The sequel to 2011's greatest film is back online!
Although it was a real shame to hear that Rupert Wyatt had departed Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes for fear of scheduling restrictions, we've now got confirmation from 20th Century Fox that a new director has been appointed for the project. It's Matt Reeves, the man who brought us classic thrillers like Cloverfield and Let Me In in recent years. Perhaps it's not the most obvious choice, but with any luck it will put the project back on schedule for its all-too-impending release and have fans more than ready for more primate-tastic action! Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes breaks into theatres everywhere on May 23rd, 2014.
