Coming Up This Week: November 5th-11th

The Master Chief returns, Rockstar unveil their biggie and Morgana unveils her darkest plot yet in the next seven days!
Keep in mind that idea I've been posing recently of entertainment just continuously ramping up its scale from now until Christmas, because that's exactly what's happened once again here. This week boasts more of the most anticipated releases and announcements of 2012, with a particular news release from Rockstar having been long awaited for by fans across the world. Just what can you expect, then? Find out below...
HALO 4- We've waited five years, and now the moment has finally come: Halo is back for its next full instalment. As the Master Chief is reawoken from cryostasis, forced onto a planet whose inhabitatants are completely new enemies and whose manifestations have consequences for the entire universe, one thing's for sure- although this won't be easy for you, dear player, it'll be one heck of an opening to the Reclaimer Saga! (Tuesday 6th)
GRAND THEFT AUTO V REVEALED- It's fair to say that Rockstar Games have kept us in the dark somewhat ever since their unveiling of the fifth Grand Theft Auto game last November, but one year on, we're about to get a full reveal and a new trailer. GameInformer will give us all of the gossip on this exciting title's storyline, gameplay and platformers later this week, then after a brief delay by Hurricane Sandy we'll be getting an epic full new trailer to spend (hopefully not) another year casting our eyes over in eager anticipation...(Thursday 8th)
MERLIN: THE DARK TOWER- After last week's stunning fifth episode, Merlin gets even darker in the aptly-titled The Dark Tower. Morgana is reeling from her last defeat at the hands of King Arthur and Merlin, so she steals Gwen away into a dark tower where our heroes must overcome the deadliest of challenges. Don't be surprised if this is just the beginning of a sprawling adventure that sets us racing towards the show's conclusion in seven weeks' time...! (Saturday 10th)
AND THERE'S MORE- Downton Abbey Series 3; Men In Black III and the London 2012 Paralympic Games are this week's big DVD and Blu-Ray releases, while Game Of Thrones reaches the eighth instalment of its Season One Sky1 re-run, Two & A Half Men and Arrow continue their runs and Anger Management hits its finale. In terms of the world of gaming, as well as 343's big 360 exclusive we've got Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth, LittleBigPlanet Karting and the Mass Effect Trilogy boxset all on their way too!
