Agent 47 is coming to our screens once again...20th Century Fox are working on a brand new Hitman movie reboot, it's been reported today. Titled Agent 47, the new film will attempt to adapt the hit video games franchise in a more successful manner than the 2007 flop, this time casting Fast & Furious 6's Paul Walker as its titular protagonist to show off the early star power such a promising project as this can initially attract. Originally, the first Hitman movie had tonnes of potential, yet key design deviations from the storylines of the various games themselves made it a chore to the watch in the end. To me, then, it seems that a no-holds-barred adaptation of Hitman Absolution (10/10) could be the best shot, seeing as that brilliant game proved to be a major highlight of 2012's roster in no small part due to its intelligent and shocking narrative. We'll see in the next few weeks if these rumours are true. Agent 47 is set for release in cinemas worldwide in 2014.
