Video Corner: Gollum Les Mis, Pirates & More

Gollum does an Anne Hathaway, Michael Bolton does a Jack Sparrow and more in this special video round-up...
Here at On-Screen, we pride ourselves as being a blog which provides lighthearted relief and personalized cult comments on all the latest entertainment developments. In keeping with our tongue-in-cheek tone, every now and then in 2013, we'll be providing you with a round-up of a few hilarious and/or meaningful videos that are worth your time.

This instance involves a range of eclectic and diverse offerings from a range of sources, all brought to you through the easy glory of YouTube. Without further ado, then, let's kick off...
GOLLUM SINGS 'I DREAMED A DREAM'- The man behind this video does a seriously worryingly uncanny impression of Andy Serkis' take on Gollum as he twists Anne Hathaway's I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables to lyrics involving Lord Of The Rings elements. In short, genius!
THE LONELY ISLAND: JACK SPARROW- A recent discovery for many viewers such as myself, The Lonely Island have provided plenty of comedic music videos. Jack Sparrow has to be their finest hour so far though, blending parody with sheer hilarity in a glorious discovery of Michael Bolton's hidden talents.
STEVEN MOFFAT GOES GALLIFREY- What with the time he's spending working on the 50th Anniversary Special, you wouldn't blame the Moff for keeping quiet with the press. It's a great surprise, then, to see the exec producer on Doctor Who chatting about 2013 and beyond at the Gallifrey conference.
AXIS OF AWESOME: FOUR CHORDS- You may well have seen this fantastic musical display via Red Nose Day 2011, but in case you didn't, or simply to relive its majesty once again, check out the Axis Of Awesome's defining musical moment right here.
