Titanfall: Xbox 360 Edition Delayed

The current-generation port of Microsoft's 2014 flagship game initiates a tactical retreat.
Respawn Entertainment and Bluepoint Games have today confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of their upcoming first-person-shooter Titanfall has been delayed. The news comes with just over a month remaining until the game's worldwide release on Xbox One and PC, although on the bright side, the setback is nothing monumental.

For those not in the know, Titanfall is a near-future massively multiplayer title which is intended to kick-start a new, eventually multi-platform annual franchise. Right now, however, the series is staying firmly put on Microsoft consoles thanks to an exclusivity deal, and there's no definitive release window scheduled yet for any potential port to either the PS3 or PS4 consoles. Most players will probably be anticipating the product in its next-gen guise anyway, but that it's missing its projected release date may be the first signal that its publishers simply aren't affording their current-gen efforts with the same care and attention as their impending system-sellers for the currently fledging One hardware!

Titanfall will now launch on Xbox 360 this March 25th, whereas the Xbox One and PC versions will still head to retail (as originally planned) on March 14th.
