The Elder Scrolls Online PlayStation 4/Xbox One Version Delayed

Source: ShopTo
Stick to Skyrim for now, 'cause we've got a fair wait yet until our next console Elder Scrolls journey!
Bethesda Game Studios have announced a delay in the development and release schedule of the next-generation console version of their upcoming fantasy massively-multiplayer-online-role-playing video game (MMORPG) The Elder Scrolls Online. Released on PC and Mac last month, the title comprises of a solely online campaign, the narrative of which takes place thousands of years before the events of the critically acclaimed RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

By pushing Online's Xbox One and PS4 port back by around half a year, Bethesda are sure to have riled a decent number of their loyal fans in the past week or so. The delay apparently comes as a result of issues which have emerged in the course of porting the experience from PCs to home consoles (believe it or not, the two types of hardware are remarkably different), and whilst a few incentives such as reduced RRP are being offered to those who have the PC edition but wish to convert in the near future, we'd wager that this'll scarcely be enough to win the entire fanbase's favour in a few months' time. Stay tuned for news on Online's development and its console version's release date(s) here at On-Screen...

The Elder Scrolls Online will wage war on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this Winter.
